  13. No. A revised manual will be available around the time of the 3.1
  14. release, but it will not be free. You will be able to buy it separately
  15. for a nominal charge should you want it, and we'll probably include a
  16. revised manual with the next paid upgrade.

  22. You have received more than a few extras. Here are some of the free
  23. features we've added that were not in the original specification:

  25. 1. PICT import/export filter (new in 3.0i)
  26. 2. reshape grid objects with Reshape tool (new in 3.0i)
  27. 3. full CyberGfx support for 24 bit DTP (new in 3.0i)
  28. 4. Epson Stylus color driver (new in 3.0i)
  29. 5. Improved Tabs requester (new in 3.0i).
  30. 6. Improved Set Guides requester (new in 3.0i).
  31. 7. Insert Signature block macro script.
  32. 8. Do math in text gadgets.
  33. 9. Improved Edit palette Character mode (added popups for type size
  34.    and width)
  35. 10. Added more preset type sizes and widths to the Font requester
  36.     scrolling lists.
  37. 11. Added four more default page sizes for envelopes and compact
  38.     discs.
  39. 12. Mail merge macro script.
  40. 13. Print Font Specimens macro script.
  41. 14. Place Graphic At macro script.
  42. 15. Emboss effect module.
  43. 16. Sharpen effect module.
  44. 17. Many (dozens?) of new arexx commands.

  46. If we had finished 3.0 back when it was done, we could have charged
  47. for all of these features and the many other little improvements in
  48. two $25 paid upgrades by now. Yes, it's been a long time getting it
  49. done, but you've also got a lot more free. And you're going to get a
  50. lot more free in the 3.1 update as well.
